Sam Chapman's pictures have often be compared to D'Vinci's masterpieces, and this picture is no exception.
Although on the surface it looks like a straightforward piece of Windriders art, it is in fact an exceptionally complex work, whose mathematical symbolism, psychological complexity, use of perspective and dramatic focus, make it the first real example of High Renaissance aesthetics........ or possibly it’s a slightly out of focus picture on an IPhone, it’s all up to interpretation.
Photography aside it was a great evening, we proved that as Windriders we could be civilised and break bread together ( or chicken ) and actually hold intelligent conversation with one another. The evening finishes as civilised as it started, with one quite pint at Monkey Suit.....
Or at least that’s how I thought until I woke up to find half our club supporting a nasty post arena hangover and our treasurer in hospital with a broken ankle. Crazy students.
